The UEFA Champions League Draw took place on Thursday in Monaco with the 32 best teams in Europe being drawn into eight groups, and Group B with FC Barcelona group is very tricky. Having said that its not the toughest group in this Champions League. Just imagine the quality of good and crazy games this time, just like 2018 World Cup.

They are in group B and will face Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, and Inter Milan.

For me, Tottenham is the third best team in English football in current times just after Manchester City and Liverpool FC. Tottenham have a side filled with young, attacking talents like Kane, Dele Alli, and Barca target Christian Eriksen and they all are incredibly well coached by ex Espanyol player and manager Pochettino.

Welcome Inter Milan

Having qualified for the Champions League for the first time since 2011/12, Inter finds themselves in a tight group. Inter are getting better with the new ownership and investment with a manager like Luciano Spaletti plus the talented and maybe next FC Barcelona player Mauro Icardi. PSV is the current Dutch champions that play attacking football and got a new young talent like Hirving Lozano.

Top of that FC Barcelona will play Sevilla, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid within 7 days of each other. The only good this is all games will be at the Camp Nou. It’s time for me to book the flight!! “finger crossed.”

Tottenham striker Harry Kane seemed pretty happy with the Champions League to draw with Spurs set to face Barcelona, PSV, and Inter Milan.
Last season Kane scored seven goals in seven games for Tottenham as they topped a tough group including Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Tottenham was eventually knocked out by Juventus in a crazy match.

In an interview post-UCL draw he said,
“It’s a brilliant draw, games at famous stadiums like the Nou Camp, the San Siro, it’s an excellent draw, one to relish, We showed people last season that we can compete at this level, particularly when you look at the games against Real Madrid, who went on to win the tournament. Barca will be a different test but to play in the Nou Camp against some of the best players in the world…it’s fantastic to play in these types of games.”
“You want to play in big games against the best players and this draw gives us a chance as a Club to once again test ourselves against the best. PSV will be tough, a huge team in Holland and Inter as well, a great history. As I said, it’s a brilliant draw.” Source | Tottenham Hotspur.

A repeat of World Cup 2018?

Barcelona kicks off their Champions League campaign at home to PSV Eindhoven on September 18.
